Classes
Are you interested in taking a class on how to make your own willow chair or other item? We teach classes!
A chair
class takes a day to complete. Typically we start at 9-9:30 in the
morning and usually everyone is done by around 5:00 pm. We pick all
the willow and supply all the screws and the patterns to build your project.
Students work in pairs, each person ending up with their own chair.
Students are asked to each bring a cordless drill, a pair of hand pruners,
a fabric measuring tape, some small drill bits, and a bag lunch.
We provide other refreshements
throughout he day.
If you come to Plumas for the class, the cost per person is $100.00 for the chair course. Special arrangments can be made for us to travel to you, class cost would depend on the distance travelled, and the number of participants.
Wanting to make something a little simpler? We also teach a 2-3 hour course on making a willow basket/planter. Again we provide the same supplies. At this class we will also supply the treatment you need to protect your project. The cost for this class is $40.00 per person. Students work in couples in this class, too, each person ending up with a basket.
Classes for making other projects, including Christmas items, are also available.
